The Rancho in Paris Annual Gala and Auction will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Round Hill Country Club. Save the date in your calendars and get your paddles ready! 

Our fabulous night in Paris-themed evening will raise funds for the Rancho Romero Education Fund (RREF) and features a cocktail hour, raffles, premium wine, dinner, a live auction, and dancing! 

The annual gala is our premier fundraising event, traditionally raising 1/2 of the RREF budget in one night. Proceeds from the event directly benefit our students by funding paraprofessional support, reading, writing and math specialists, a music program and materials, noontime sports, an art teacher and supplies, additional library hours, Kinder/TK PE, classroom books, learning materials, and more.

Our auction team is currently gathering donations and needs your help! Donations of gift certificates, bottles of wine, services, or physical items are very much appreciated!

What is the date, time, and location of the event?

What should I expect at this event?

This is one of the most exciting fundraising events for Rancho Romero, raising about 1/2 of the total Rancho Romero Education Fund (RREF) budget. The evening will begin with socializing and purchasing raffle tickets and premium wine. A sit-down dinner and live auction will follow. Music and dancing will round out the night!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is “A Night in Paris.” Elegant, chic, and sophisticated attire. Black tie is encouraged, but not required. Outfits with French flare or French style are welcomed!


Ladies: this means an elegant look with cocktail attire.

Gents: this means a suit with a shirt and dress shoes. Black tie is encouraged, but not required. Ties and bow ties are optional.


How much do tickets cost?

  • Single Ticket: $150
  • Couples Tickets: $300
  • Sponsor-a-Teacher Ticket: $75 
  • Signature VIP Package: $400 for couples and $240 for singles. Includes a special drink upon arrival, a petite French treat, priority check-in access, and a “sponsor-a-teacher” ticket.

When can I buy tickets?

January 18th–February 23rd.

How do I purchase tickets?

On the morning of January 18th, you will receive an invitation to the auction via email with instructions on how to purchase your ticket. Please note that all ticket sales are final. 

Can I purchase tickets for other people?

All attendees must purchase their own tickets for bidder number accounting purposes. Please only purchase tickets for yourself and your date, if you are bringing one.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

All tickets must be purchased online, in advance of the event. In the past, tickets have sold out, so we advise that you do not wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets.

How will seating arrangements be handled?

All seating is prearranged. When you purchase your tickets online, please indicate the names of your tablemates in the textbox provided.


Once your tickets have been purchased, ONE person from each table will be responsible for emailing Veronica Menta and in the subject put AUCTION SEATING. The committee will do its best to accommodate all of the seating requests. You can also buy your tickets first and finalize table mates later.

The seating arrangements will be made in the order that tickets are purchased. To be placed at a specific table, you and your tablemates must have already purchased tickets online and agreed with one another that you will sit together.  

Please note: all tables seat 10 people. If you have more than 10 people in your group, you can request two tables close together. We will email you with a confirmation or will notify you if we cannot grant you your request. 

We’re new and don’t know that many people yet. Where should we sit?

No problem! This is a great way to meet fellow Rancho parents. When you buy your tickets just leave the seating textbox blank. We will try to seat you with other parents from your child’s grade.


Will dinner be served?

Yes, a full sit-down dinner is served. 

Will dietary restrictions be accommodated? 

Vegetarian options are available. When you purchase your tickets, you may select either a meat or vegetarian option. 


Will dessert be served?

Yes, if you are lucky enough to have the highest bid at the silent auction during the cocktail hour. We have secured some delicious desserts from local bakeries and restaurants!


How will alcoholic beverages be handled? 

There will be a table where donated wine will be sold at the event for your table, and all proceeds will go to the school. Round Hill will also have a bar where alcohol can be purchased.


What is the online auction?

The online auction is separate from the live gala and will take place from Tuesday, February 28 to Thursday, March 9. You will be able to bid on amazing items and purchase spots for our popular kid and adult sign-up parties.


You do not have to be a Rancho family to win! Feel free to invite your friends and family to bid online. When the online auction closes, items will go to the highest bidder. Please note that all bids are final.  


What is the live auction?

The live auction is very exciting! Our donations team has been diligently pulling together a variety of amazing trips and experiences that you won't want to miss! A brochure will be sent home approximately two weeks before the event in late February and will detail all live auction items. Please note that all bids are final.  


What are sign-up parties, and when are they happening?

Sign-up parties are a favorite Rancho tradition! Be sure to snag a spot in one or more of these parties, which are generously donated and hosted by Rancho staff and families.

Choices range from a special afternoon with your child’s teacher to an afternoon or evening of adult fun with other Rancho parents. Be sure to log on to the online auction as soon as it opens so you can make sure to get your spot on these guest lists!
