Our Mission

The Rancho Romero PTA is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of all children and families in the Rancho community. We create opportunities for families to engage with the school through volunteering, events, initiatives, advocacy, and collaboration with teachers, staff, and school leadership.

Through our efforts, we strive to support a positive social, emotional, and educational experience for every student and family.

Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

PTA Values

Collaboration

We work in partnership with individuals, organizations, and school leaders to strengthen our ability to serve and advocate for all children and families.

Commitment

We are dedicated to supporting children’s educational success, health, and well-being through meaningful family engagement while remaining true to the principles upon which PTA was founded.

Diversity

We celebrate and value the unique perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences of all members of our community and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child and family feels welcomed and supported.

Respect

We value the contributions of our members, volunteers, staff, and partners as we work together toward shared goals.

Accountability

We share responsibility for aligning our efforts and resources to support the mission and initiatives of our association.

The Big Picture

Rancho Romero PTA is one of many PTA units within the San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs (SRVCPTA), which represents all PTAs across the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.

SRVCPTA is part of a larger PTA network that includes the 32nd District PTA for the County, California State PTA (CAPTA), and the National PTA. Through this network, we are connected to resources, advocacy efforts, and initiatives that support children and families at the local, state, and national levels.

The Rancho PTA is an affiliate under CA PTA’s Letter of Determination and 501(c)3 registration. As an SRVCPTA unit, we have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status under CAPTA’s group exemption. The group exemption number 0646 (needed for the 990 filing).
